Mesa Fall Training Sessions

RUSH Mesa Fall Training Sessions are designed to help athletes achieve their volleyball goals in each of the 5 major skill aspects of the game: Setting, Passing, Defense, Attacking, and Blocking.

Each one hour session will focus on either ball control (Setting, Passing, Defense) or net play (Attacking and Blocking). Each ahtlete will get to discuss their needs, and what they'd like to focus on, with our RUSH Master Coach and Coaching Director before each session. The drills for the session will be modified to help acomodate these needs and work towards the goal of the athlete and their coaches.


In adition to position specific training, each sessions will start with 10-15 minutes of sport specific physical training focused on the postitions associated with the session.


Dates: 10/6 - 11/12 (Mondays and Wednesdays)

Location: Most sessions will be held at Arizona Atheltic Grounds. Some sessions will be moved to nearby schools when necessary. Participants will be updated promptly if a location change is made.


Sessions:

  • Ball control 5-6PM: Boys ages 14 or younger and girls of all ages.
  • Attack and Block 6-7PM: 14 or younger and girls of all ages.
  • Ball control 7-8PM: Boys ages 15 or older (Men's net)
  • Attack and Block 8-9PM: Boys ages 15 or older (Men's Net)


Price: $40/ session

Session for: Boys ages 14 or younger and girls of all ages.

This net play session will focus on all aspect of playing at the net. Attacking and blockign will be the primary focuses. The training for each athlete will be curtailed to their needs and position.  

Each session will provide 10-15 minutes of volleyball specific physical training and 45-50 minutes of postional training.

Session for: Boys ages 15 or older (Men's net)

This ball control session will focus on passing, setting, and defense. The training for each athlete will be curtailed to their needs and position.

Session for: Boys ages 15 or older (Men's Net)
