Tryout Requirements
Below are a list of things that your athlete will need to tryout. Not just at RUSH, but for any club. Please be sure to read all categories carefully.
USAV Membership Required for All RUSH Athletes
All RUSH Volleyball athletes are required to have a current USAV membership for the 2025/2026 season. This is mandatory because every athlete in our club will be participating in the Arizona Region tournaments, along with the Southwest Classic (boy's only) for some.
When registering, be sure to register your athlete for the appropriate membership (i.e. junior athlete)
Please note:
- You’ll need to create a SportsEngine account if you don’t already have one.
- Memberships are non-refundable, so be sure to read all instructions carefully.
- Athletes must be linked to a parent/guardian’s account in SportsEngine.

AAU Membership Required for All RUSH Athletes
All RUSH Volleyball athletes are required to have a current AAU membership for the 2025/2026 season. This is mandatory because every male athlete in our club will be participating in the Feel the Rush Tournament, our girl's teams will be competing in various AAU tournaments, and our National Teams will also be competing in the AAU Nationals at the end of the season.

USAV or AAU?
Our club currently participates in the USAV AZ region tournaments. We also participate in a number of other USAV events. Our teams do attend AAU nationals along with other AAU tournaments such as Feel the RUSH, Tinsel Tussle, and Festival Fiesta.
Season pricing is dependent on your region and the type of team you are on. We are proud to offer Regional, Regional +, and National level teams to accommodate our community's needs. Please reach out to your regional director for more details about this.

Each team's schedule can be found on their team page here on the site, or on their schedule in the Crossbar App (you'll definitely want to download this). Below is the link to the AZ Region Tournament Schedules. Be sure to check with your coach on which division you are playing in.
